THE CONFERENCE TELECOMMUNICATIONS 2006 IN SIGN OF BUSINESS AND RHETORICAL CHALLENGES Numerous experts from the field of telecommunications of the region of South-Eastern Europe met at the annual conference Telecommunications in Portoro?ž. The first day of the conference started dynamically by hyperactive and burning Tomi Ahonen, an independent counsellor, writer of four universal best-selling books, lecturer at the Oxford University and a standing guest of numerous conferences all over the world. An exciting day was concluded by the roundtable, which - despite the substantial falloff of the participants - managed to perform a provocative discussion on activities on the Slovene telecommunications scene.The conference concluded in the spirit of general satisfaction on the side of the organizer as well as on the side of the participants. A silent promise was made to meet again the following year.
