Matevž Mesojednik, Astec d.o.o.

Matevž Mesojednik was born in1979 in Kranj, Slovenia. He obtain Master's degree in 2009 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana in the field of security. Already during his undergraduate studies, he joined the Laboratory for Telecommunications, where he participated in the research, development projects and implementation of professional training. In 2007,  within one year of specialization abroad he joined to Cisco Systems, from where his path is leading to a domestic company Astec. The new environment he is active in the broader field of information security and design of modern information and communication systems and solutions.

 

Rudi Panjtar, Astec d.o.o.

Rudi Panjtar was born 1962 in Jesenice, Slovenia.He graduated in 1989 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana in the field of electronics. He has worked in various professional areas - development of laboratory equipment, development of electronic postal scales at the time of service in Tehtnica, Železniki. His work was continued in the field of logistics in the company Oria Computers in various projects and developing software solutions  as eLogis, wireless networks, handheld terminal equipment and bar code technology. He participated in the planning, building and implementation of software for a Universal Post Office (UPO) for the Post of Slovenia.  He has been employed in company Astec d.o.o. since 2003 and as Head of Communications and Transport and directs the work of the expert group of engineers for the development of communication systems. In the meantime, the team carried out two comprehensive reform of state bodies HKOM network and a lots of projects in the LAN and WAN networks, enterprises and government bodies.

 

Klemen Tepina,

Nokia Siemens Network d.o.o.

Klemen Tepina is working as a Lead Solution Manager at Nokia Siemens Networks. He joined the company in the beginning of 2009. Before that he gathered his long-year experience on projects in different segments of telecommunications technologies. His area of work is solutions for service providers with the focus on applications, network consolidation and convergence.

 

Simon Koščak, Mobitel d.d.

Simon Koščak joined Mobitel in 1998. He gained knowledge and experience as a salesperson at Mobitel's Centers. In 2005 he began working in the Business Market Sector as a key customer consultant, and for the last two years he has been working as a product manager for converged services (the M4 converged offer, the Druinska vez (Family Ties) bonus program, the converged service offerings for business customers Podjetniki komplet (Entrepreneur Package) and Entono poslovno omreje (Single Business Network)).


 

Horst Pertl, Si.mobil d.d.

After graduating at Maria Theresian Military Academy in Wr. Neustadt, Austria, in 1983 with high honors in Communications Management & Electronic Operations,  Horst Pertl joined the Austrian Armed Forces as Military Communications Officer (Major) where he worked on various locations and missions until 1997.

Horst has 25 years of international experience in electronics and telecommunications and has worked on a variety of projects in the mobile telecommunications industry over the past years. During his career he worked in telecommunications firms, like Connect Austria (Orange Austria), KPN Orange (Belgium), and Ericsson and since March 2002 until December 2004 he was the Board Member in Commscon Int AG, Switzerland, before he joined Mobilkom Austria Group.

He has a broad knowledge of the telco business together with basic radio and transmission planning skills. During his time in Mtel he did a great job having the responsibility for the areas of network planning and network development for all technologies, including GSM, UMTS and WiMax.

Boštjan Stražar, Microsoft d.o.o.

Boštjan Stražar joined Microsoft's Slovenian subsidiary as a technical professional in 2002 just as Microsoft launched the first version of the .NET platform, which indicated the direction that resulted in the Microsoft cloud computing services & platform a decade later. In his eight years at Microsoft he worked in a number of roles in Slovenia and in wider regions of Adriatic and South-East Europe. Two years ago he became the leader of a team that focuses on development technologies and platforms that enable local developers and partners to develop their own solutions.

 

Gregor Kastelic, Si.mobil d.d.

Gregor Kastelic se je Si.mobilu pridružil leta 1999 kot IT specialist in bil del prvotne ekipe, ki je poskrbela, da je Si.mobilu uspel komercialni vstop na trg. Svojo karierno pot je nadaljeval v skupini, odgovorni za zaračunavanje in mednarodno gostovanje. Kot vodja skupine je vzpostavil in vodil skupino za podporo poslovnim procesom znotraj IT oddelka. Bil je eden ključnih ljudi znotraj Si.mobila pri vzpostavitvi tehničnega dela razvoja aplikacij in storitev z dodano vrednostjo. Odkar je Si.mobil postal del skupine mobilkom austria, je sodeloval pri mnogih mednarodnih projektih na nivoju skupine. Leta 2007 je prevzel vodenje Službe platform za storitve z dodano vrednostjo, letos pa vodenje celotnega sektorja za jedrno omrežje in IT.

 

Zenel Batagelj, Valicon d.o.o.

Zenel is one of the founders and president of the company. Primarily he works in developing new products and consulting for key clients. Recently he has begun focusing on brand architecture, positioning and brand portfolio design as well as brand consulting.

He graduated in Social Informatics  the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. Still a student, he considered founding his own company. In 1996, he co-founded the Cati company (a forerunner of Valicon).
Zenel is the author of the www.SI Monitor research (the first Slovenian web ratings research) and co-author of the National Readership Survey model. He is also the author of the PGM (Product Group Manager) research study, the largest marketing research project in the area of the former Yugoslavia.

He is an active member of the Marketing Association of Slovenia and a regular speaker at all major marketing events in the region and the world (ESOMAR, AAPOR, ISI, ASA).

Phillip Parfitt, Nokia

Phillip Parfitt is Head of Developer Relations for EMEA and is part of the Forum Nokia & Developer Community organisation of Nokia. In his role, Phillip is leading Developer Relationship Managers who are located in Europe, Middle East & Africa and Eurasia. Additionally, Phillip is responsible for Developer Relations in the Alps & South East Europe region, which includes Croatia and Slovenia. The main responsibility of the Developer Relations team is to support third-party developers and publishers of mobile applications and content to make money by developing locally relevant content for Nokia platforms and the Ovi Store around the globe. Prior to re-joining Nokia in 2010, Phillip managed a start-up Independent Software Vendor business in Austria, focusing on the development of applications and services for the global telecoms operators business. Prior to this, Phillip spent over 12 years with Nokia in a number of senior marketing, strategy and business development roles in the UK, Southern Europe, EMEA and Global organizations. Phillip has an Honours Degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering, and an MBA from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick, UK. Phillip is based in Vienna, Austria.

Peter Croy, Aviat Networks

Peter has 15+ years of telecommunications experience in voice switch design, fixed line and wireless service providers network architecture/design and team management. He got his technical University degree in Communications Engineering (MSc) from the University of Technology in Vienna.
His previous roles include Transport Network Manager at Orange UK, Corporate Network Services team leader at UTA Telekom (Austria) and design engineer at Frequentis (Austria).
Peter currently is a senior network architect in Aviat Networks for IP/MPLS and Data Network strategy and design of fixed and mobile backhaul networks.

 

Mitja Lazar, Telekom Slovenije, d. d.

Mitja Lazar has been working for Telekom Slovenia since 2002, and since then he has been acquiring knowledge and experience in market analysis, regulation, controlling, and product management. In 2008, he became the product manager of SiOL services for residential users within the Marketing Department, and he has participated in different projects and activities in this field until today. Currently, he is the head of the office for project management.

 

Radoš Lipičar, Telekom Slovenije, d. d.

Radoš Lipičar is Telekom Slovenia's product manager for the business price plans portfolio for small and medium-sized companies. By managing different products in the past 7 years, he has gained broad experience in different fields, from automatization and computer process management in industry, to launching and managing different ICT services and products, with the Custom-Made Office and Single Business Network being the latest two.

 

Matjaž Robinšak, Valicon d.o.o.

  • Matjaž is a specialist in research on ICT industry and pharmaceuticals. He is mainly occupied with comprehensive support in developing marketing strategies and consulting for key clients.
  • He joined Valicon right after completeng university and gaining degree in social informatics in 2002.
  • During his studies he was actively involved in the project of the Centre for Methodology and Informatics within the Faculty of Social Sciences where he worked under RIS project (Use of Internet in Slovenia).
  • Matjaž is specialized in the measurement of market potential in the field of innovation in B2B market and brand strenght and architecture strategies.
  • He is also author of several papers in the field of Information Society and Internet research.
